Did you know that 8 scientists from the DoE were recently exploring Cayman’s deep sea? They spent 2 weeks aboard the RRS James Cook mapping Cayman’s off shore banks and researching our deep sea enviornment.
Now we’re bringing the discoveries to YOUR district through the Beyond the Reef Tour!
From April 18th to May 30th we’ll be sharing findings from our adventures across our three islands!
We’ll have specimens collected from the deep sea on display as well as video from the sea floor and some of the first photos ever taken of our offshore banks.
